*After Sayuri had expressed concerns over her daughter's odd behaviour over the last few weeks, she had asked the staff to keep an eye on her this next week to see if anything odd happens. For most of the week, nothing seemed out of place and she seemed to act as normal.

Though today, while supervising the kids during recess at the school, Asuka may notice Tomoko with another three children, two boys and a girl. The girl and the taller of the boys is helping the second boy, who seems to be having trouble walking, while Tomoko seems to be rather reluctantly following behind them. They seem to be heading into the academy building.
You can only assume they are taking the boy to the school's infirmary, but maybe you should follow them to see if they need any help?*

::Walks over... but notices they seem to be kind of... hiding from being seen. Perhaps it would be best to follow them?::

*As you follow them inside the building, you notice that instead of going in the direction for the infirmary, they go the opposite way and seem to disappear into one of the currently empty classrooms. They close the door behind them, but they unknowingly leave it a little ajar.*

[danse_etoile]

::Okay, Asuka, something funny is happening. I hope Fujiwara or someone didn't get to these kids.

... I'll sneak over to the ajar door, and try and move my head so I can look, but try and make sure they can't see me.::

[sketchthefuture]

*When you look in, you see the injured boy sat on the floor. He has a small gash below his knee where he has obviously fallen and scrapped it, the other boy and girl are stood beside him and Tomoko is in front of them.

"You know what to do." the taller boy seems to say, directed at Tomoko. Tomoko does not look the slightest bit comfortable.

"But...!"

"What have we told you, Tomoko. If you don't use your magic thing to help us, then we'll let all the school know about it. Besides..." he motions to the boy sat on the floor. "... he's in pain. Don't you want to help him, Tomoko?"

Tomoko shifts uncomfortably, but then sighs and kneels down in front of the injured boy.

Slowly, she lifts her hands up to the boy's injury and after a few seconds, you see what appears to be a kind of pink energy coming from Tomoko's hands. The boy's injury appears to heal slightly, but only enough to stop the worst of the bleeding.
Once the light fades, Tomoko takes her hands away and just.... sits there while the injured boy jumps to his feet happily.

"It's amazing! The pain is completely gone!"

As the three kids talk amongst themselves, they are now paying no attention to Tomoko, who now looks a little drained and is also holding her leg in the exact same place where the boy was injured.

Feel free to bust in on them, Asuka!*

::Walks up behind them, silent as the grave, and tugs on the ears of the boy and girl.::

Hello children.

::She's smiling in a very maternal but terrifying way.::

*Both the boy and girl you have hold of look back at you with complete looks of horror on their faces. The second boy also appears to have a similar expression.

Tomoko also looks up in shock, but doesn't seem to have the energy to react more than that.*

Yuuki-sensei...?

You three, I have a super special assignment for you.

::Talking to everyone that isn't Tomoko.::

[sketchthefuture]

*
"S-special assignment...?" stutters the taller boy.

"W-what kind of special assignment...?" the girl adds on.

They look so terrified!

Tomoko stays silent and watches what's going on.*

I want you to all by the end of the day, give me a three page paper on why it's a bad thing to hold things over people's heads and threaten them with those things. Like say, threatening to reveal your classmate is really good at pulling a rabbit out of their hat to everyone else unless they do it just for you.

Or would you like me to talk to your parents about what poor sports you all are?

*All three of the children give you varied agreements of "We'll write the paper!!/Don't tell our parents!!"*

[danse_etoile]

Now all of you go scoot along and go back to recess and have fun.

*The three kids very quickly scamper away without looking back. When it's just Tomoko and Asuka on their own, Tomoko looks to the floor.*

I guess you saw it, huh.

I saw something. But. I don't want to jump to conclusions, dear, as you deserve the chance to explain. If you want.

::Coughs.::

Would you like to take a seat? ::Motions to a seat.::

I could use a moment to sit myself, as my legs are killing me.

[sketchthefuture]

*Tomoko nods and attempts to get up, but as she does, she winces in pain and goes back down on the floor again, holding her leg.

But there doesn't seem to be any injury there from what you can see.*

...I might be better staying here right now.

[danse_etoile]

::Takes a mental note there, as she takes a chair, and sits, crossing her legs, thigh over thigh.::

Fair enough.

[sketchthefuture]

*Tomoko pulls her legs to her chest, with her hand nursing the leg that is apparently in pain. She keeps her eyes fixed on the floor, rather than on Asuka at first.*

I'm sorry if I'm in trouble... I just didn't know what to do...

[danse_etoile]

You're in trouble?

[sketchthefuture]

*Tomoko looks up at her with an unsure expression.*

I just thought I might be in trouble, that's all.
For not telling anybody.

[danse_etoile]

Well I don't know what you haven't been telling anyone. Unless there's some secret circle I don't know about.

[sketchthefuture]

...for not telling anyone I can heal things now...

*She looks back down at the floor.*

I only found out I could do that a few weeks ago. Those boys I was with are always hurting themselves and when one injured his arm one day, I went to help, but he was in loads of pain and I remember wishing I could take that pain away. Then when I touched his arm, my hands glowed and afterwards he didn't have any pain at all.

After that, they told me they'd keep my "magic power" a secret if I healed them whenever they needed it and said they'd tell the whole school if I told anybody else.

But every time I heal one of them, I get really tired and I seem to get the pain they're feeling almost as if I have the injury myself.

But if I didn't do it, they were going to tell the whole school and I didn't want everyone to know. If everyone knew, they'd all want me to help them... and as much as I'd like to help them, I just...

*She buries her face into her knees. She seems to know that helping everyone at the school would have a bad impact on herself... but also that she might of felt obligated to help them if everyone found out.*

... ::Taps chin.::

... Have you told your mother at all about this?

[sketchthefuture]

*Still with her head buried in her knees, she shakes her head slightly and replies, her voice wavering a little as she speaks, making it obvious she's upset.*

They said not to tell anyone. I wanted to tell her but I was scared they'd find out...

[danse_etoile]

... Also, if it's okay with you, I think you should go to the Arcadia Movement or the Spirit Foundation to figure out the extent of your "magic", though if it is magic... not sure who to go to.

::Taps chin::

...my mom had me tested at the Arcadia Movement when I was little. I don't think they wanted to do anything then, but I remember being excited because I was like Isabel.

But nothing really changed until recently.

[danse_etoile]

... I think I know why. Rough guess.

[sketchthefuture]

*She looks up.*

[danse_etoile]

Yes. Well. Maybe. I can't guarantee it.

*She looks at you curiously.*

...what do you think?

You just turned around what 11? 12? ... It. Could be related to puberty.

...is that when you start becoming a grown-up?

I don't think everyone gets healing powers when they grow-up.

[danse_etoile]

Uh. Yes. ... And no they don't, but I have heard that cases like yours have a tendency show up around now, the exact reasons why or how are unknown...

[sketchthefuture]

So you think my powers got stronger because I'm growing up?

[danse_etoile]

Yes. But I don't think you need to be ashamed or afraid of them.

::Beams a smile at you.::

*She smiles a little back.*

I guess I should tell my mom about what's been happening... huh.

She's been pretty worried about you.

*She looks down.*

I know. I don't like making her worry.

... If it would help, I can come with you as morale support and to help explain?

*Tomoko thinks about it for a bit, but then shakes her head.*

It's okay. Maybe I should do it on my own. I should of told my mom about it from the start.

You should of. But. The important thing is that you do tell her.

*Tomoko tries standing up again and is able to stand this time, but it's obvious she is having trouble putting pressure on the leg that's hurting her.*

*She looks down.*

Could you help me to the infirmary and help me explain everything to them? They think I've been lying about having pains...

I'm not sure the infirmary will listen or not. But I'll be glad to help you there.

::Offers a hand to help ease the weight on your leg.::

*Tomoko smiles gratefully and takes her hand.*
