Event Post! - Birthdays and Height Charts

*[Backdated to the 3rd of September]

The 3rd is Tomoko's 6th birthday and both Tomoko and Ruka can be seen outside Ruka's apartment. On the wall beside the door is what seems to be a height chart that they have pinned up, which Tomoko is stood with her back against while Ruka is marking out her height. Afterwards, Tomoko steps away and beams at the chart with a huge childish smile!

"I've grown a lot, haven't I!"

Ruka laughs a little and nods at her. "You have, Tomoko-chan!" Ruka then looks at the chart herself. "Seems I have a bit too."

On closer inspection, the chart has been marked with the heights of both Tomoko and Ruka... and occasionally Rua when Ruka forced her brother to be measured on it, all at certain ages. Tomoko's is from 4 and a half to 6 years and Ruka and Rua from 12 to 13.

::Erland shifts the present to his side, noticing it's effect on her attention.::

Yeah! I'm gonna be going to big kids school in October! It's gonna be fun!!

"Today's your birthday, isn't it Tomoko?"

"Well, you're getting to be a big girl, aren't you? I thought it was your birthday, so it's a good thing I have this, isn't it?"

He moves his hand out from behind his back, and offers her a large rectagular package.

*Tomoko's eyes light up with childish joy as she takes the package from him*

*And with that she starts to open the package!*

Inside is a complete art kit, with canvas, a stand, a palette, paints, and even pencils and clay.

Now I can be just like mommy with this!!

*With that, Tomoko gives Cain a huge hug!*

Out of nowhere, Isabel puts a hand on Tomoko's head.

"What're you up to, squirt?"

*Tomoko looks around at Isabel, then smiles as she points to the height chart that is pinned up*

Ruka was measuring me on that! I've grown loads, huh??

Isabel glances at the chart.

"Yeah, you've grown a lot!"

"Just be careful y'don't start growing backwards."

*She looks very very confused*

"Well, sometimes a person starts growing bigger normally, and then all of a sudden they just start shrinking. And then they get smaller and smaller and smaller until nobody can even see them anymore! And they yell "Help me! Help me!", but..." She sighs. "Nobody can hear them."

*After hearing that she looks horrified!*

T-That's not going to happen to me, right?? I don't want to be so small that no one can see me or hear me!!!

"I dunno, kid, there's no way to tell until it starts happening..." When Tomoko's not paying attention, Isabel makes a mark on the wall just slightly above the one that was just made.

"....hey, isn't that mark you just made a little shorter than this other one?"

B-but... it was... but there... I...
...I'M GROWING BACKWAAAAAARDDDSS!!

Isabel lets out a sigh. "That's too bad, kid."

"Guess you should ask your mom to start buyin' tiny furniture and stuff for you."

But...but.... but.... mommy won't be able to give me hugs anymore and I won't be able to play with Juudai nii-chan and Corentine anymore and I won't be able to draw anymore and ... and...

*She looks on the verge of tears*

"H-hey, hey, don't feel bad....hey, I know what'll cheer you up!"
