She's holding a sketchpad which she was drawing a picture in, a picture of her and her mother, but beside them is a figure that Tomoko hasn't finished drawing yet and by the way she's sadly looking at the picture, it doesn't seem like she's going to finish it.

She seems a bit down. Maybe you want to talk to her and see what the matter is?*

*She doesn't even look up at you when she says that. She very obviously is not "fine".*

::Sits down next to you.::

*Tomoko stays quiet at first, but eventually looks up at Niyo*

Ms. Mikata, when people die, do you eventually forget them?

If you want it to be honest... ::Takes a deep breath and sighs.:: ... Yes. There's a tendency too. Especially if you live a long time, that only the really important ones last. And even then...

*Tomoko seems saddened by the answer, but she seems to accept it. She then goes back to looking at her picture quietly*.

*She doesn't even look up.*

*Tomoko doesn't know this strange person, so as soon as she senses they're looking over her shoulder, she moves the picture to her chest and holds it in her arms in order to hide it. You still got a good look at it though*

*Sanko comes across Tomoko in the park! Looking curious at Tomoko and why she's all sad.*

*That is one saad Tomoko*

*sad Tomokos are bad! she sits next to Tomoko, frowning*

What's wrong?

*... Sanko kinda feels that isn't the whole story. she'd probably be right!*

*Tomoko shuffles a bit uncomfortably*

Because I was gonna draw my dad in the picture, but I can't remember what he looks like...

[Isabel had been watching the courtyard from her window. She sees Tomoko there for a while before, eventually, deciding to leave her room for once and head outside as well.

A few minutes later, she's approaching Tomoko in a tanktop and sweatpants, and drops down next to her.]

"Hey. Drawin' somethin'?"

Sort of...

*Her reply doesn't seem very enthusiastic, neither does her colouring at the moment, she's just working slowly on some grass in the picture with little effort, despite the figure that is very obviously unfinished.*

"Sorta?" [She looks at it, turning her head a bit.] "That's you and Sayuri?"

*Tomoko nods slowly, but doesn't say a word in response*

[She blinks and points to the other figure.] "Who's this supposed to be?"

...my dad.

*She stops colouring the grass on the picture*

...but I can't finish it.
