A couple minutes later, Isabel is knocking at the door of Sayuri and Tomoko's apartment.

*Not long after she knocks, Sayuri answers the door. She smiles when she sees Isabel and greets her.*

"Hiya, Sayuri." Isabel scratches her nose. "So uh. I hear Tomoko's been. Talkin' to trees again."

*Sayuri falls silent as the smile gradually dissapears off her face. Rubbing her eyes, she steps aside to let Isabel walk in*

Isabel nods. "Thanks." She walks inside, and pauses briefly.

"...are you okay?"

I'm okay, just... worried I guess. I knew people would start questioning it sooner or later, because I have too.

*She closes the door and goes into the living room to sit down*

I thought she was playing a game with it all but... I'm not sure if she is or not.

"...yeah." Isabel rubs her head. "This whole time, I wasn't sure whether she was pretending or not, but...starting to seem like she's not."

"Or maybe she's just really stubborn."

She CAN be stubborn sometimes, I'll give her that... but...
... usually, once she knows I'm onto her or that I've had enough of one game, she'll drop it. She's been doing this since she was four and the older she's become the more she's been doing it.

Then I remember how I thought the duel spirits were just her imagination before I could see them for myself.

*Sayuri places her head in her hands*

I just wish I knew what was going on with her. It's like she's seeing a completely different world to what I am sometimes.

"..." Isabel pauses, thinking for a moment. She can't think of much of any explanation besides...

"...have you considered that she...might be like me and my dad?"

No-one has mentioned any problem when she's been dueling, though maybe it's because she's new to it...I don't know, but... I can't think of any other explanation as to why she's been doing what she's been doing.

"I've never heard of psychic abilities manifesting themselves this way, either..." Isabel rubs her head.

"If you want, we could take her to the Arcadia Movement and get her tested."

Okay. I think that will be for the best. Hopefully it'll at least let us know something about what's going on with her.
